SOMNI | 3D Animated Short Film
SOMNI explores a dystopian world where sleep has become a tradable commodity. In this society, university student Nam sells his sleep to gain energy, while others desperately buy it to survive. This creates a thought-provoking commentary on modern life and human values. The film was created by Lâm Khánh Uyên (dyweann), supervised by M.A. Phan Hoàng, with music and sound effects by Tremowaves Studio.

Emotional Storytelling
The SOMNI score explores the commodification of sleep in a dystopian society, using haunting melodies and atmospheric textures to convey the protagonist's internal conflict. The music reflects themes of personal sacrifice, societal pressure, and the human cost of modern living.
Animation Synchronization
Working closely with animator Lâm Khánh Uyên, we synchronized the musical cues with key visual moments to enhance emotional impact. The score builds tension during the city's hectic daily routine and provides contemplative interludes during moments of personal reflection.
Student Collaboration
This project represents a successful collaboration between talented student animator dyweann and Tremowaves Studio. The partnership showcases how professional audio production can elevate student projects to professional standards while maintaining the artistic vision of the creator.
